Mike has spent several years in the commercial real estate industry learning and gaining an in-depth understanding of commercial property investments. Mike has served as the General Manager of Crabtree Valley Mall located in Raleigh, North Carolina. He started in commercial real estate in operations at Crabtree which afforded him the opportunity to understand what it takes to operate a class A shopping center. While in his role, the shopping center's gross sales surpassed $500 million annually. Mike worked with his team to create value add opportunities throughout the 1.3 million square feet class A shopping center. Additionally, his experience extends into grocery anchor centers, single tenant properties as well as office space. Mike is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and Urban Land Institute (ULI). Mike is a North Carolina Real Estate Broker and is currently serving as the Broker in charge for Plaza Associates, Inc.

In addition to his Professional achievements, Mike has an exemplary academic record. Mike holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Arts from NC state University, a Bachelors of Criminology and Criminal Justice Administration from Mount Olive College (Currently University of Mount Olive), as well as, an Associates of Arts from Coastal Carolina Community College. Mike has completed several courses from the John T Riordan School of Real Estate Professionals. Those include Management I and II, Leasing II and Development, Design and Construction. Mike has also earned the honor of Eagle Scout
